The problem
Your calendar shows two meetings back-to-back. One's in Bournemouth, the next is in Bath. They look fine on screen — an hour between the end of one and the start of the other. What your calendar doesn't tell you is that the drive between them is 52 minutes, there's no parking, and you're going to arrive flustered and apologetic.
TravelSync fixes the bit your calendar has never bothered to fix.
How it works
- Real drive times — Uses the Google Maps Distance Matrix API to calculate actual driving time between your meeting locations. Not a straight-line estimate, not a guess.
- Automatic blocking — Creates a travel block in your calendar before and after every physical meeting. Marked as busy, so nothing else gets booked over it.
- Smart journey chaining — Multiple meetings in a day? TravelSync routes you directly from one location to the next, rather than back to the office each time.
- Home and office aware — Before 9am and after 5pm it routes from your home. During the day, from your office. Both addresses are fully configurable.
- Configurable buffer — Add arrival buffer time so you park, compose yourself, and walk in calmly instead of rushing through the door.
- Runs every hour — Automatic hourly runs keep your calendar up to date. New meetings get travel blocks within the hour. Cancelled meetings get theirs removed.
- Virtual meeting filtering — Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, phone calls, and 70+ other virtual meeting keywords are automatically filtered out. Only meetings with a real physical address get a travel block.
What you get
A calendar that actually reflects your day. No more "just running slightly late" messages. No more arriving stressed. No more double-bookings that look fine on screen but don't work in the real world.
Set it up once — choose your calendars, enter your home and office addresses, set your buffer — and TravelSync handles everything from there. It runs in the background, every hour, without you having to think about it.
Works with
Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook / Microsoft 365. You choose which calendars to monitor for meetings and which calendar to write travel blocks into.
